Top Aces, formerly Discovery Air
Defence Services (DASA), is a defence contractor
based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. In 2005, Top
Aces signed a contract with the Canadian Armed
Forces to supply contracted combat support and
adversary training. In 2014, the company signed a
contract to provide fast jet airborne training
services to the German Armed Forces to fly visual
target missions. In 2017, Top Aces was awarded a
long-term Contracted Airborne Training Services
contract with the Government of Canada. In March
2017, Top Aces was awarded a contract to provide
training support to the Australian Defence Force.
The in Canada civilian-registered planes serves the
Airforces for air to air gunnery training and
education of military air traffic control officers.
Due to its high speed, good maneuverability and long
operating time, the A-4 is perfectly suited for this
role. The jets are equipped with a modern glass
cockpit. At the fuselage station electronic decoy
pods or winches for target towing can be fitted. |
