DRF Luftrettung
(DRFL)
(since Oct. 2008)
The DRF Luftrettung (DRFL) is the legal successor of
the former Deutsche Rettungsflugwacht e.V. (DRF)
For the new DRFL also fly HSD and HDM, which until
2008 with the former DRF operators in the alliance
"Team DRF" were organized. On January 1, 2019, DRF took over Northern HeliCopter GmbH (NHC) in Emden.
The NHC
operates air rescue services for the offshore wind
industry in the North Sea and Baltic Sea as well as
ambulance flight operations on the East Frisian
coast for the offshore islands.
DRF Luftrettung also includes ARA-Flugrettungs GmbH in Austria and Falck DRF Luftambulance A/S in Denmark.
